Especially as it was like 100 degrees in that theatre!

To fill you in, we spent all day at a college in Guildford setting up for a photoshoot for Store Van Music, the initiative of Musician Neil Johnston. As a new school year begins after the summer these guys will be gigging all over, promoting music and offering education to schools and colleges. It was our task to capture everything in one day including these ‘live’ gig promo shots, behind the scenes footage, endorsement shots for all the brands that donated gear and a one off signature shot for all media.

I thought it might be cool to post a video of all the frames we discarded form the Retromania shoot. It looked good seeing the process. A simple little shoot but a fun video.

This shoot for Retromania earned us a lot of interesting looks and a good handful of beeps from passing drivers.

We needed a warm sunlit afternoon, an urban concrete environment and a willingness to perform. We captured a couple of hundred frames and decided to keep the ads simple with a clean uncluttered backdrop.
